Angi Gonzales-Carver has been an advocate for education since before her children were born and has been an active member of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøfor over 20 years. She truly believes all children deserve a quality education and that family engagement is key to students’ educational success. Presently, Gonzales-Carver proudly serves on the National ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøBoard of Directors and Executive Director Performance Review Committee. Previously, she has held positions on the National ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøPrograms Committee, Convention Elections Committee and Diversity Committee. Gonzales-Carver is also a past president of New Mexico ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø(2007-2009).
Outside of PTA, Gonzales-Carver is a past president and legislative chair of the University of New Mexico (UNM) Parent Association. Professionally, Gonzales-Carver is a former educator with Albuquerque Public Schools and together with her husband owns Carver Construction Co. Inc. She is married to Rodney Carver, with whom she shares two amazing children, Adrian and Dani.
