Alyssa CutronaAlyssa Cutrona is a current youth board member, serving on National PTA’s Board of Directors. She graduated from The Charter School of Wilmington (Delaware) in 2023. Previously, Cutrona served as the student representative for her high school’s PTSO and for her school district's board (Red Clay school district). She was also the student body president of her high school for the 2022-2023 school year. From these experiences, Cutrona realized her passion for empowering youth and advocating for every child’s education, regardless of their background. She intends to practice her most important value, empathy, by advocating for every and all student’s educational needs.

Cutrona is currently an undergraduate student at Boston College (BC) where she is a part of their Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program. She is planning to major in International Studies with minors in Biology and Global Public Health on the pre-law track during her time at Boston College. So far Cutrona has become involved in Boston College Dance Ensemble, “a student-run organization that provides opportunities for approximately thirty talented dancers to choreograph and perform across all styles of dance.” She is also a part of Boston College’s Public Health club, Timmy Global Health club, and BC Sea Eagles. Cutrona is looking forward to incorporating her passion for youth advocacy and education into her BC experience and hopes to shine light on the college student’s perspective through her position in National PTA.
